According to the La Plata County election results, 58% of voters preferred the Democrat candidate for president. Then it stands to reason that 42% of county voters backed the winning candidate.
However, The Durango Herald totally ignores that there were any Republican voters based on their editorial page coverage. When was the last time you read a syndicated columnist in the Herald that was right of center? Many of the news stories from other Colorado publications have left-leaning bias.
It’s becoming very difficult to justify the price of a print/digital Herald subscription when those of us who have a conservative point of view are being constantly blamed for electing a president who is doing exactly what he promised in his campaign.
