DPD spokesperson Amanda Garrison said police located a stolen vehicle near Carbon Junction and south Camino del Rio (U.S. Highway 550) south of Durango Mall and the Durango Stadium 9 movie theater. The suspect was found on foot in the same area.

DPD’s Flock Safety system identified the reported vehicle near the Grandview Interchange.
Garrison said police spotted the vehicle and it fled at 1:26 p.m. Police found the vehicle near the 2600 block of U.S. Highway 160.
Witnesses described Rimmer, who was described in a Reverse 911 to residents as a white male with a beard last seen wearing a dark purple shirt with white colors, black pants and white and black shoes.
