DENVER – Police say the Denver area’s transit system isn’t responsible for the deaths of two people hit by trains last week.
A pedestrian was killed the Regional Transportation District train that runs from Denver to the airport on Friday night. Another person was hit by that train at the same location Saturday afternoon.
KUSA-TV reports that investigators found that the person killed Friday wasn’t paying attention while crossing the tracks and that the second death involving the A line appeared to be a suicide.
