The new Medicare booklets for 2017 have just been sent out.
Notably missing is the premium for next year, information that is also unavailable on www.medicare.gov. Could it be that a large increase, to go hand in hand with drastic insurance premium increases for just about everyone, is in order and the powers that be don’t want the voters to know that until after the election? And wanna bet that there will be no increase in Social Security to offset any Medicare increase? After all, there supposedly is no inflation to warrant an increase.
Guess our politicians with their high salaries, guaranteed benefits and self-granted raises don’t take notice since they don’t have to worry about higher costs for groceries, utilities and just about everything else.
