Poll questions more offensive than tape

I received a phone call on Oct. 25 from a pollster at my private residence. I was asked all sorts of personal questions. Upon answering that I was Republican, the phone conversation was abruptly ended as he no longer regarded my information as useful.

As a registered voter, I was offended and highly concerned that this is an example of how our polls are rigged and only show one side of the story.

I also was offended by the front-page news story (Herald, Oct. 24) about how Donald Trump’s words from two weeks ago offended women. Why is this considered worthy of front-page attention as it is two weeks old – not to mention the tape was from 2005.

I am more concerned about our country’s economy, open border issues, rising health care costs and the safety of our nation than what happened 15 years ago with women who were offended by words and didn’t bother to come forward and address an issue until right before the election.

Trump has said he is a different person now. I would certainly like to give him the benefit of the doubt.
