La Plata County Humane Society’s third annual Powder Hounds Online Art Auction will kick off Monday and run through March 14.
The event features snowboard art created by 17 artists who are featured in a two-week long online silent auction. “Buy it now” pricing on each snowboard will also be available. Shipping is available for non-local bidders. Bidding begins Monday and all bids must be place online by noon March 14.
The event will also feature the Durango Powder Hounds Photo Contest, which will run simultaneously with the auction. There is a $10 entry fee and $1 per vote.
Money raised will provide life-saving services to all the animals that come into LPCH’s care, including emergency surgeries, spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, medical and behavioral rehabilitation.
