Power restored to 318 electric customers north of Durango

Outage affects residents served by Tamarron/Glacier Club substation

Power was knocked out to 318 La Plata Electric Association customers for about 45 minutes Thursday after a tree fell on a power line north of Durango.

The outage was reported about 3:15 p.m. and power was restored by 4 p.m., according to news releases issued by LPEA. Residents who receive power from the Tamarron/Glacier Club substation were impacted.
