The Powerhouse Science Center will host a free public grand opening for its newest exhibit, The TinkerLab at the Mensch Spark Shop, from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the main gallery.
The event will have family friendly activities and happy hour beverage specials. The entire museum will be open with free admission during this time.
The TinkerLab is an all-ages space to improve design and problem-solving skills, while inspiring curiosity. Activities will change regularly. The Martin Family of Durango is the sponsor of the opening.
