Sudden Science is a youth educational outreach program aimed at fulfilling the mission “to ignite curiosity, spark imagination, and power exploration”. It is held after school at participating elementary schools as a series of hands-on, inquiry-based activities.
In honor of the quickly approaching river season, we will spend the month of May getting to know the Animas River and what makes it flow. Students will remain after school in participating local schools.
Each class will be 90 minutes, and cost for the program is $12 per class or $40 for the four-class series (Animas Valley is a three-week session for $30).
