Pine River Community Learning Center is offering classes next week on basic Internet safety, as well as a book signing.
The Internet class is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Ignacio center in Candelaria Heights. The price will be $25. Call 563-0861 for more information and to preregister by 3 p.m. Monday.
The Pits of Hell, written under the pen name Jenna B.A.S., examines domestic violence. Her book signing is at the Bayfield center at 54 E. Mill St. at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22.
