Pros teaching at baseball clinic

Proceeds benefit children with disabilities

Grinders for Grace, an annual fundraiser for Grace Morrissey and other children with disabilities, is set for Saturday, Jan. 12, at Strike Zone Baseball and Softball in Farmington.

Coaches at the clinic include World Series champion Blake Swihart of the Boston Red Sox, along with Mike Remlinger, a 14-year Major League Baseball veteran. Other coaches include Mitchell Garver, Jordan Pacheco, Jake McCasland, Shilo McCall, Jacy Cave, Dom Moreno, Austin House, Scott Gracey, Jason Columbus and Alex Kowalczyk.

The clinic is from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration is $130 per player and is available online at https://kidscamps2019/itemorder.com/sale.

Grace is the daughter of Strike Zone owner Adam Morrissey and his wife, Jolinda.

Proceeds also will benefit a foundation started by the Morrisseys, Grace’s Hope Foundation, to assist local children with disabilities. For more information on the clinic, contact Strike Zone at (505) 326-7874.
