Protesters at Pence visit disappointing

Driving by the Fairgrounds on Oct. 19 during the visit by GOP vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence, I was disappointed by the protesters out front.

Our country gives us the right to protest, but be sure you understand what and why you are protesting.

I was sure that if I walked up and started talking to any of the protesters, I would have learned quickly how ignorant these protesters were on the issues.

When you speak of sexual assault – ask yourself why these women did not come forward a year ago, where did these women come from now and what and who paid them.

Police brutality?

I think there is a lack of respect, and when authority is engaged – all our communities are better served.

Issue of life? Listening to Hillary Clinton in the debate was horrific to hear her words about late-term abortion.

Don’t say you are working for women and children and then feel so strongly about abortion and late-term abortion.

Clearly, she has no heart for humanity.

At this point, look at the platforms.
