The city of Durango Parks and Recreation Department announced it recently received a request from Trails 2000 to build a trail in the SkyRidge subdivision open space that connects Powerline Trail at Molas Drive with Raider Ridge.
A public meeting to discuss the proposed trail will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Jenkins Ranch Park picnic shelter, 435 Jenkins Ranch Road. If approved, the city will add the new trail to its natural surface trails system.
Attendees are encouraged to provide input about the proposal.
