La Plata County Sheriff Sean Smith, who is running for re-election, will be available to meet with members of the public from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, in Bayfield.
The event is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.
