The public is invited to the San Juan College Board of Trustees work session at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at the 30th Street Education Center, Room 306, located at 3401 East 30th St., Farmington.
The trustees will discuss recommendations regarding redistricting. The Board of Trustees is currently engaged in the redistricting process after the federal 2020 census. Accordingly, San Juan College must examine the lines of the established voting districts and make revisions based on population changes to ensure an equal distribution in each area. During the work session, the community will have the opportunity to learn more information relative to the recommendations that will be made at the Nov. 1 trustees meeting.
