San Juan Mountains Association will hold a presentation about lightweight and ultra-lightweight backpacking 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Will Rietveld and Tom Galbraith, SJMA volunteers and experienced ultralight backpackers, will give a presentation and provide techniques about how to effectively lighten packs to under 20 pounds, and help participants to carry less and do more during backpacking trips.
