The first public meeting about the College Drive and East Eighth Avenue safety project will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Sunlight Room at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The city is considering a lane reconfiguration on College Drive and East Eighth Avenue.
The meeting is free, open to all and will feature interactive stations and an informational presentation about the project.
Community members who attend are encouraged to share their input.
