The La Plata County Office of Emergency Management will hold an open house about drone use from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 27 in the conference room at La Plata County Planning Department, 211 Rock Point Drive.
An overview of a proposal to use drones for emergency response and disaster mitigation in La Plata County will be presented, and will cover the proposed drone uses, emergency management settings and data-retention policies.
