The city of Durango will hold a workshop to gather public comment about its 2019 budget at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Smith Council Chambers at City Hall, 949 East Second Ave.
Those who plan to attend are encouraged to learn about the budget process and share ideas and suggestions to be considered by the city manager and staff members. The budget will be adopted at the City Council meeting Dec. 4 and will be effective Jan. 1.
The deadline for comments is Aug. 6. To comment on the budget, email citymanager@durangogov.org or mail a letter to: City Manager’s Office, 949 East Second Ave., Durango, CO 81301.
