Parker
Doug Parker joined the Pueblo Community College Southwest Regional Law Enforcement Academy as the new coordinator in October.
Parker was a police officer for nearly 36 years in Denver and Littleton and a SWAT officer for 26 years.
From 2008 to 2011, Parker served as emergency manager for Montezuma County. He worked for the sheriff’s office in that county from 2011 to 2013.
Parker is a Denver native and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in criminology from Regis University.
