Purgatory Resort will throw a party from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 to celebrate the 50th birthday of its owner James Coleman.
The event is free, open to all, and will feature food, drinks, cake, activities on the plaza, entertainment and giveaways, including a Stihl 441 chainsaw.
Those who attend will also receive a free lift ticket for March 10.
