Purgatory Resort will host Carve Wars at 9 a.m. Friday to Sunday at the resort’s base area.
Carve Wars showcases the artistry of competitive chainsaw carving. Chainsaw artists will compete for prizes and awards while performing live shows and creating masterpieces.
The event will also feature meet-and-greet opportunities with artists, live demonstrations and two live auctions. Saturday’s auction will take place at 3 p.m. at Hoody’s Lodge. Sunday’s auction will take place at 2 p.m. in the base area. Indoor auction spaces are limited to 50 people and face coverings are required.
