Purgatory Resort will host the Muck and Mire Mud Adventure race from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 3 at the resort.
Have fun and get muddy on this challenging 5k course. The race will feature mud pits, a giant slip ’n’ slide, more mud pits, hay bales, climbing walls and more mud pits.
A 10k course will also be available that will test racers’ stamina with 20 obstacles and a lung-burning course that runs up and down the mountain. For the little mudders, there will also be a 1-mile course.
Registration is $49 in advance and $55 on race day and will include a race T-shirt, free beer and Coke beverages after the race and a post-race party with live music.
