What is going on with the news articles lately? It looks like somebody just cut and pasted sentences one after another.
Do current reporting styles not have to follow the basic English we have been taught for decades? I would have gotten all Fs if I tried to turn in work like that.
But reporting has gone down for years as articles have gotten too PC and the reporting shows it.
When reporting of somebody’s race can not be mentioned in the article, yet the article mentions possible hate crimes, then race is relevant to the article.
Or, after recording a person running down people along a street and watching him climb out of his truck, you report him as the alleged person involved.
So much has changed in the last 10 years or so, and not for the better.
