I wonder if Rep. Scott Tipton, as a candidate for re-election to the 3rd Congressional District, would have time to respond to some questions and allow his responses to be posted to the editorial section of the Durango Herald?
It would help to know his positions on some of the many issues that effect the district:
When will the War on Terror be over?
Can the U.S. afford to maintain the hundreds of overseas military bases currently being manned?
Does Tipton plan on voting for a balanced federal budget if re-elected?
Does he plan on voting in favor of any multi-billion dollar foreign aid bills should he be re-elected?
I would appreciate it if Rep. Tipton would respond to any or all of these questions, and thanks to the Herald for printing his answers.
