I recently saw a letter here extolling the warrior-like qualities of the progressive movement, and of course, of the progressive individual.
I thought, as I often do, just towards what does a progressive progress? And I ask the question here today: What is a progressive? From whence does the progressive begin and to where does the progressive seek to go?
And if there is a coherent answer, the very next question must be: Is that a good idea, or just a “better idea?” And the next: Who is going to pay for that (actually)?
