Questions surround hospital practices

I was ripped off in 2014 by one of our local hospitals, and I believe the hospital is still operating this scam.

I had Medicare outpatient surgery and stayed one night in the hospital. The hospital gave me pain medication and antibiotics by mouth instead of intravenously, even though I had an IV implanted when I was admitted and even though the hospital knew Medicare would not approve payment for oral medication administration.

Then, the hospital charged me 8,700 percent more for a pill that would cost $.44 at a local pharmacy. This means that the hospital is making at least $250 in unearned profit off each patient.

If you are as angry about this as I am, let me know by emailing bikerbobby49@gmail.com and/or calling (970) 422-8383. Let’s do something about this!
