The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center is sponsoring an introduction to QuickBooks workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in Mancos, Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Pagosa Springs and Tuesday, Nov. 27, in Durango.
The workshop, taught by CPA, Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and Fort Lewis College Accounting Professor Laura E. Hokanson, will help small business owners understand how much money they are bringing in and how they are spending it. Hokanson will explain how the software works and how it can help manage the finances of a business and save time. Cost is $70.
A one-hour lunch break will be from noon to 1 p.m., and participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch.
The Mancos workshop will be held in the conference room at Southwest Community College, 33057 U.S. Highway 160.
The Pagosa Springs workshop will be held in the community room of First Southwest Bank, 249 Navajo Trail Drive.
