Bighorn sheep graze on a exposed slope near Coal Bank Pass on Friday. The radio-transmitter collar on the ewe allows wildlife biologists to monitor the herd’s health and movement. The monitoring is an ongoing, long-term wildlife management effort, said Joe Lewandowski, a public information officer, with Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s southwest region.
