Raven Narratives announces March theme “First/Lasts”

Raven Narratives invites storytellers to pitch stories for the March “First/Lasts” theme.

Raven Narratives’ March theme will be “First/Lasts,” and the show will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 6 at Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.

“Firsts/Lasts” asks storytellers to think of their first car or bike, first (or last) kiss, a time they got fired or hired, the last time they saw a loved one, their first time milking a goat or their last taste of rain in the wilderness. Creative takes on the theme are encouraged.

Pitch a story by Feb. 1 online at www.ravennarratives.org/contact. Stories need not be perfect before being pitched. Share the basic idea during the pitch and organizers will work with storytellers to develop the story.

Stories must be true, told in the first person and relate to the theme. No rants, raves or soapboxing. Stories must be up to 10 minutes in length. No explicit endorsements of individuals or organizations are allowed.
