A local realty office chose to "Give Where They Live" as part of RED Day on May 14, dedicated to renewing and donating to local communities.
As part of the RED Day effort, the Realtors and staff of Keller Williams Realty Southwest Associates coordinated three different projects. They cleaned up Florida Road (and the river corridor) from Holly Avenue to Third Avenue and did some landscaping at the La Plata Senior Center in Durango. Their third project involved landscape and planting work for a veteran in need in Bayfield.
"We are pleased that 100 percent of our Realtors committed to participate and to also have other local volunteers, including bankers, home inspectors, and title company representatives," said Geoff Overington, a broker at Keller Williams.
