The Recess Gallery, 1027 Main Ave., will host an opening reception for the new exhibit, “Sardines,” by Kimberly DeVenero, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The show will be on exhibit through April 30.
The Recess Gallery features small works (no larger than 5 inches by 7 inches) created by a different artist from around the region. Measuring at just over 8 cubic feet, The Recess gallery is Durango’s smallest art gallery and rotates new exhibits every month. The Recess Gallery is nestled in the back of Studio & Gallery.
