The Fort Lewis College women’s indoor track and field team saw four records go down when they competed at Adams State University for the winter season opener on Saturday.
The Skyhawks won the meet 132-122.
Jazmyne Reining set a new FLC record in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.48 seconds. Quinlyn Borneo broke the 200 record with a time of 26.99 seconds.
Next it was the field athlete’s turns as Gabrielle Silva set an FLC record in the shot put with a mark of 9.68 meters. Carey Carter cleared 2.9 meters which was good enough for a new school record.
FLC will compete at the University of New Mexico Cherry and Silver Collegiate Invite from January 22-23.
