The Durango Recycle Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays beginning Tuesday. Only single stream material – no electronic waste – will be accepted. The following restrictions will apply:
All customers will be required to wear a mask or face covering while using the public drop off area. Customers not wearing face coverings will be asked to leave.
A maximum of two cars will be allowed in the drop off area at one time.
To ensure proper social distancing between customers and employees, only one person will be allowed out of the vehicle to dispose of recycle material.
Signs will be posted at gate areas to remind customers about procedures.
