In deciding who you will choose to elect for LPEA District 4 this month, please ask yourself: Will you vote to re-elect David Luschen, or elect John Purser for the first time after his three previous defeats?
Will you vote for someone who, over the past three years, brought his professional experience as an engineer in the energy field to bear as a board member, took advantage of all the training provided by LPEA, went above and beyond the requirements of the job by attending continuing education in other states in new technologies for fire prevention, data centers and power supply, and attended all but one of the monthly board meetings – even while on vacation? Additionally, he became the secretary for Western United Electric Supply, a much bigger cooperative than ours, from which LPEA reaps the benefits.
Or do you want to elect someone who will constantly split hairs and find a conspiracy under every single rock?
I hope you plan on voting for someone who has shown hard work and commitment to the board, who believes in supporting and promoting the benefits of our power cooperative and not someone who is constantly tearing it down. For the future of our community, vote for David Luschen.
