The Colorado Soccer Referee Program announced that community members are being recruited to work as referees at upcoming youth and adult soccer games, leagues, tournaments and special events.

Online and on-the-field referee training is required. Online training is available to referee 12- and 13-year-old youth leagues, and youth and adult leagues for players 14 and older. An on-the-field training session will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 26 at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
