The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado welcomes Blake Common to its team as a parttime, paid intern. Common is a senior in accounting at Fort Lewis College and grew up in Telluride.
Region 9 works closely with the FLC School of Business and has provided student internships since 2006. Common is planning to get his CPA certification after graduating and said Region 9 was an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a financial position firsthand.
In his spare time, Common plays numerous musical instruments and has a passion for the outdoors.
