The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado announced new board officers and members for 2022.
They are: William Tookey, San Juan County administrator, chairman; Dan Fernandez, Dolores at-large member, secretary; and Collen O’Brien, La Plata at-large member, treasurer.
Three board members were also re-elected to the Executive Committee, including Dewayne Findley, Montezuma County at-large; Clyde Church, La Plata County; and Mary Jo Coulehan, Archuleta County at-large.
Two new board members were also approved at the January board meeting. Nate Peach, professor of economics will represent Fort Lewis College, and Chauncy McCarthy will represent the town of Rico and serves as its town manager.
