The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado has announced the promotion of two employees.
Brian Rose joined Region 9 in early 2018 as a business resource specialist and has been promoted to deputy director. Rose will oversee the loan program and assist the organization in sustainable growth and financial management. He will also coordinate grant compliance and work with county-level economic development groups, the Southwest Small Business Development Center and the Southwest Colorado Accelerator Program for Entrepreneurs.
Stephani Burditt started in 2015 as the office manager and her title will now include marketing and grant assistant. She will be incorporating a marketing role for Region 9 and pursuing grant opportunities for the region, organization and county-level economic development groups.
