Cheyenne man stabs family, possibly dies

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Police say a 30-year-old man stabbed his wife, the couple’s two young sons and his wife’s father at a home in Cheyenne, then fled in a car and is believed to have been killed in a collision on a Colorado interstate.

The Cheyenne Police Department went to the home late Friday after several hang-up 911 calls. Officers found four people, including a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old, with multiple stab wounds. The victims were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition.

Colorado man goes missing while treasure hunting

SANTA FE – Searchers are looking for a Colorado man who went missing while hunting for treasure in Santa Fe.

Searches for 54-year-old Randy Bilyeu are being carried out by air and foot.

Police say Bilyeu of Broomfield told a friend on Jan. 4 that he planned to travel on the river. His ex-wife told a newspaper that he was fixated on finding author Forrest Fenn’s hidden treasure.
