Registration open for Southwest Rural Philanthropy Days, which will be held Sept. 12-14 in Cortez.

The event is held every four years to bring opportunities to area nonprofits and community organizations. It will feature an opening reception at Crow Canyon Archaeological Center; guest speakers and presentations; round-table discussions; workshops; and local food, beer, wine and entertainment.

Nonprofits, government organizations, business and community leaders in La Plata, Archuleta, Montezuma, Dolores and San Juan counties are invited to attend.

Registration deadline is Aug. 30. Those who register by Aug. 4 will receive a discount on fees.
