Relay for Life of Southwest Colorado will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Joe Stephenson Park, 134 W. Mill St., Bayfield.
Organized by Mallorie Godbold, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life will support efforts of the American Cancer Society. Community members can form teams and set up a themed “campsite” to continue fundraising efforts by collecting food and goods, and by hosting activities and games. Money raised at campsites will count toward the overall team fundraising goal.
For those who aren’t able to participate on a team, bring the family and support the American Cancer Society. Volunteers are welcome.
