Har Shalom begins religious school for kids

Har Shalom Children’s Religious School is running for the new year.

The school will offer books and crafts for children from ages 3 to 11. Younger and older siblings are also welcome.

The classes will focus on Jewish holidays and culture. The next class will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. The class will share the concepts of thankfulness with the children of Har Shalom. Everyone is welcome.

Har Shalom will host a family-friendly Shabbat evening service at 6 p.m. Friday. All ages are welcome. Participants are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Har Shalom’s Fall Mitzvah Day will take place at 10 a.m. Nov. 22. Participants will help cleanup the leaves and pick-up the grounds around the synagogue. To RSVP, visit the website below.

Methodist Church invites you to Holiday Bazaar

The 42nd Holiday Bazaar will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 21 at the First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive.

The bazaar will feature vendors, crafts, plants, baked goods, handmade items and pie by the slice. All proceeds will go toward local, national and international missions.
