St. Columba welcomes returning Catholics

A small group of active parishioners who are exploring their faith meet with a small group of inactive or returning Catholics over several weeks to share and explore their faith journey together.

For more information, call Cathy at 247-0044 or email landings@stcolumbacatholic.org.

Adventist church to screen film about Martin Luther

The Durango Seventh-Day Adventist Church will present a free showing of the movie “Luther,” produced in 2003, about Martin Luther, the leader of the Protestant Reformation movement.

Luther began the Reformation in Germany in 1517 when he nailed his 95 protests to the door of the church. As a result, he founded the Lutheran Church and translated the Bible into German.

The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Durango Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1775 Florida Road, just east of Durango Sports Club.
