Her legacy tells “Good was Good.” Renee Good was murdered in Minneapolis by an ICE agent named Jonathan Ross. The Trump administration down to local MAGA extremists have unjustly labeled her as a terrorist. She was a victim. In fact, an alarming number have defended the trigger-happy killer with a badge.
How can the Republicans justify her death? How can law enforcement celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day as Good’s corpse is being prepared for the final journey?
New Mexico’s San Juan County Sheriff’s Office must deal with the murder and resulting lawsuit of young Aeriel Gallegos. The passing of Kimberly Dotson, the widow of Robert Dotson, may signal the finalization of the Dotson murder case regarding certain Farmington police officers who shot Dotson in his doorway when these officers went to the wrong address. The least of these events took place in Durango last October as Colorado law enforcement allowed ICE agents to pepper-spray protesters. Our entire Four Corners must have police reform.
In Farmington, a shocked citizen regarding the Renee Good murder joined an event hosted by the Republican Women at the Farmington Civic Center hoping to discover answers on numerous political issues. Ms. Brimhall informed this citizen that, although the event was at a city of Farmington venue, a public place, the event was a private affair, and this law-abiding citizen was escorted out the door.
Furthermore, as Father David Gierlach repeatedly expresses, “we must mobilize.” Stop MAGA. Stop Trump. Respect and protect citizens from fascism.
