As of Friday, community members need to make reservations to use the Durango Community Recreation Center. This is to comply with new capacity limits associated with La Plata County’s move to COVID-19 Dial Level Red: Severe Risk. Reservations will be required to use Chapman Hill Ice Rink starting Saturday.
Reservations can be made for the pools, fitness classes, track, aerobics studio and areas where fitness equipment is located. Reservations may be made online up to seven days in advance at www.DurangoGov.org/reccenter. Cancel reservations if plans change to allow others to use the facility.
Modified recreation center hours are 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

There is no open recreational swim at this time. For more information, call 375-7300.
