National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Durango Police Department, 990 East Second Ave.
The event gives residents a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.
The fall take-back collected a record-setting 912,305 pounds of prescription drugs.
Durango Police Department also provides a drop box in its lobby for prescription drugs in need of disposal.
