The city of Durango’s Parking Division reminds residents and visitors that commercial loading zones, marked with yellow curb paint, in the central business district are restricted parking areas.
Signs that display the hours of restriction, generally 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday, have been posted near the loading zones. The loading zones are reserved for “active” commercial loading and unloading. Enforcement officers must see loading activity within a 10-minute period for it to be considered “active.”
