I’m grateful for Sarah Sturm’s guest column on Sunday, and for the reminder that as people who live and play here, we’re responsible for the future of the places we love.
Clean energy can be a huge piece of that, and it feels good to know that we residents and La Plata Energy Association members can have a hand in reducing emissions and making changes toward sustainable, responsible energy. It’s not going to be easy or fast, but we need to start working on it now, and the upcoming LPEA election is a chance to do so.
I encourage you to read Sarah’s piece, and to think about how to protect the places and resources we depend on.
