Retailers offer chance to win free parking

The Durango Business Improvement District and other local retailers are taking names to give away 80 “Smart Cards” worth $20 in a drawing.

Interested participants can register at one or all of the following locations: Animas Trading Co., A Shared Blanket, Community Concert Hall ticket office, Durango Antique Market, Durango Arts Center, Durango Coffee Co., Durango Community Recreation Center, Durango Public Library, Durango Transit Center, Durango T-Shirt Co., First Southwest Bank, Four States Tire and Service, Go Lite, Half Price Tees, Karyn Gabaldon Fine Arts, Maria’s Bookshop, The Wells Group, Tippy Canoe, Toh-Atin Gallery, Ultimate Mountain Living, and YESS The Book Hutch.

The parking cards work at many of the downtown meters and will be yours to keep.

All registration locations will draw their winners on Dec. 8.
